The MND Association Wirral Group, in partnership with the Wirral Community Narrowboat Trust, recently hosted a wonderful day out aboard the converted narrowboat The Pot of Gold on the Shropshire Union Canal.
The day began with torrential rain, but thankfully the clouds soon cleared and everyone was treated to beautiful sunshine, with plenty of wildlife to enjoy along the way.
It was a lovely opportunity to spend time together, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the canal and, most importantly, have some fun.
As Darren perfectly summed it up: “It’s been a boss day!”
