Volunteering with Wirral MNDA Group
Volunteers are the life-blood of the MND Association and the Wirral Group would not exist without them.
The group is made up entirely of volunteers who are passionate about improving the quality of life for those living with MND locally.
Volunteering with the charity also gives people the opportunity to develop their skills, meet new people and take part in new experiences.
There are lots of ways you can get involved and support the MND Association. We recognise that all time is valuable so any time that you can give would be appreciated.
Nationally we have 7,000 volunteers, locally we have a small team which we would like to expand. We are looking for people of all ages and backgrounds who have skills and talents and time to offer.
Volunteers can be based around teams involved in:
- Fundraising
- Campaigning
- Staging events
- Social media and web content.
The role of Association Visitor has a formal interview procedure and training programme which is nationally administered and can be accessed through the national website. Currently there are no vacancies locally.
Make contact through the national website, call Debbie Williams on 07836 635280 or email debbie.williams@mndassosiation.org.
