On Saturday 2nd May, Birkenhead Rugby Club hosted a fantastic fundraising event in support of the MND Association – Wirral Group.
The match, Birkenhead Park XV vs Invitation XV, kicked off at 2pm at Upper Park and brought together players, supporters, volunteers, and the wider community for a memorable afternoon of rugby.
With no entry fee, the event welcomed a great turnout, creating a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day. Alongside the match, both the online raffle and a traditional raffle and tombola — featuring around 90 prizes — were a huge success and played a key role in raising funds.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of everyone involved. A special thank you goes to all the volunteers who gave their time and energy — your support made the event run so smoothly and made a real difference.
